Coastal Primary Bedroom Retreat

Our primary bedroom was one I have been working on for a while because I wanted to find just the right amount of modern but still have my coastal cozy vibe.

My childhood dreams of having a canopy bed have finally come to life! The bed posts also lower into just a header and footer if desired. We fit our adjustable platform bed right inside the frame and it fits/works perfectly.

My favorite thing in this room is the rug! I am obsessed with the color variations and how low profile it is while tying in all of the other coastal elements.

These bedside table lamps are HUGE and add so much texture to the space. Also just having one of them turned on, illuminates almost the whole room. A definite new favorite of mine!

The faux bird of paradise tree is the newest addition to this space which replaced the old fiddle tree and it has really brought so much more tropical goodness!

I still have some future plans for this space like painting and switching out the light fixture to a ceiling fan but I’m so happy with how it is functioning for us right now.
